Altar - Shrine
This Shrine (with four religious images: La Inmaculada, Nuestro Señor de los Trabajos, San Jose, San Miguel) were hand painted based on Mexican folk art traditions of the 18th and 19th Centuries. The Shrine is adorned in its center with a hand carved and hand painted Crucifix (in the handed down European tradition of the same Centuries).
The religious images were pained on old wood using the somewhat primitive folk art traditions, colors and methods.
Hang on the wall or place on a tripod.
